Oooooh, pretty:
Well, what did you think it was? Oh my, the sick minds of some of the girls who read my blog! Do you actually think if I got one of "those" packages in the mail that I'd post about it? My dad reads this, for crying out loud! And my daughter.
If you want that kind of info from me, you'll have to email.

I actually thought it was a box of shoes. Clearly, I'm projecting.
American Girl dolls...I have vaguely heard of them. I don't have girls. I didn't realize under the bed would be a good place to hide such a thing. (It was under the bed if I remember right.)
Love it! I just signed up to follow this blog :) Hugs!
LOL, I was just on pins and needles! LOL, AN American Girl Doll,LOL!
Why is everyone worried about another depression striking the US? Those girls seem happy and clean enough.
Yea!!! 4 of 8 would love to get Ruthie--she has Kit and has enjoyed her so much! Hope your girly girl enjoys her newest American Girl!
Blessings!
What cute dolls! I have never heard of them before. I will be checking this out FOR SURE!!
thats a lucky girl!! Love the photos!
my word verification word is "crizine"...is that Visine for Crying? cuz I need some now after the bitter let down of never having owned an american girl.
You're a crack up. Love it love it. So #2 is into American Dolls? Didn't you love the movie Kit Kittredge? Grrreat movie. Happy birthday to your daughter. And guess what? I didn't have my mind in the gutter...it must've had something to do with your Moddest Policy. I was thinking "cleeeaaan". ;0)
OK!! well when you said a plain brown box, and you put it under your bed! I had to go there!!
My daughter would be so jealous she loves her american girl, but since she is 4 she has painted her toes and put glitter all over her, my heart sank, but she is well loved!
I have 3 sons and no daughters. My husband gave me Kit several years ago. I love her. I'm 42 and still play with dolls!
I am totally impressed with your photography skills--such greats photos all taken with an outstretched arm! Great job! Good job keeping the big surprise a surprise from the birthday girl! I keep thinking that one day the kids will find the hiding spots that I've been using for the past 7 years, but so far so good. Maybe this Christmas they'll improve their snooping skills...hope not! Actually, my #2 NEVER wants to peek or spoil the surprise of a gift. I can't picture her trying to find my hiding spots.
Mina, where have you been? Blogging vacation?
