Eight links for counting
a Seven pm concert
Six homemade stockings
Five birthday guests
Four excited kid
Three bloggy gifts
Two dozen cookies
and a pretty decorated Christmas tree.
Self-indulgent reflections of a stay-at-home wife and mother of 4.

We've tried to do the links here but I always forget and strangely enough so do the kids!
I had intended to do a countdown chain this year, but I didn't and it seems silly to do it this late.
How fun! I remember those! I miss my boys being younger :) ♥ Hugs!
I love paper chain countdowns!! I was going to do one this year but my sister-in-law's mother bought us a nutcracker countdown this year. I felt obligated to use it--not to mention the fact that my son is OBSESSED with nutcrackers!!
We missed doing our this year. :(
You are clever Mina; I've been enjoying how you are incorporating the numbers of things into your 12-days countdown.
I never remember to do the darn link countdowns, and I lost my advent calendar in the move. I love the sign above your links!
I like the sign above the links too. Fun!
I remember those too! I miss them! Fun memories.
We have one of those to! I love the 12 days of Christmas theme...so great!!!
And your family is GORGEOUS!
Cute!! I can't wait to do stuff like that!
Cool idea. My wife and I usually try to buy a Christmas calendar with chocolate to share with the Grandchildren, but I may consider having links next year.
There is only 8 more days left? That's not very much time!
What a cute way to countdown!!
Mina,
Too cute! My daughter made a chain for the tree this year. Liked it so much, she made another. So cute!
