On the Eleventh Day of Christmas I posted on my Blog ...

Eleven cranes a-folded

Ten points on antlers
Nine manger figures
Eight links for counting
Seven pm concert
Six homemade stockings
Five birthday guests
Four handmade stockings
Three bloggy gifts
Two dozen cookies
and a pretty decorated Christmas tree.

Though I do do some origami, and can make cranes (with the instructions in front of me) I did not make these, but the friend of a friend who knows that we were without our regular decorations this year.  So kind to share ...

I love those origami cranes! They are so cool. And don't they bring good luck, or happiness, or something like that?

What fun to discover a series of posts for the twelve days of Christmas. Today's (and yesterday's) posts are especially lovely. What a treasure to receive from a friend...eleven cranes a-folded. Having recently folded an endless number of paper cranes for a friend's wedding, I can attest to the fact that whoever did this for you is indeed a good friend! :)

I have an 11 year-old son who loves origami. He made an origami Christmas tree and I've been meaning to make a post about it. I think your cranes are very festive.

Is all your stuff still in storage until you have made your final move? When is that move supposed to be?
